How to become a Phlebotomist? You have to undergo training to get a certain certification to do this. They are responsible to take blood from a human being or animal and doing this without harming the patient or disturbing the nursing care they are receiving at the time. They also need to guarantee that the blood is taken accordingly as if specimens are harmed during collection, test results may be unobtainable or worthless. Once the blood is taken it is also the phlebotomist’s job to take care for transferring the specimens to their corresponding laboratory when required. |
